What part of this is on the G string?

    muy bueno

Great composition, he plays with feeling. The thing about all the vibrato is that it really makes the open notes sound out of place, I think it’s better used on only certain notes, and vary the tempo of it.

Qué maravilla para el alma. Cómo dista esto de la degeneración musical de la sociedad actual, donde lo que triunfa es lo comercial y fastuoso, con melodías simplonas, pegadizas y absolutamente insustanciales.

    beautiful!!!! BRAVO!!

@llewcellist thanks for the history lesson. Highly appreciated. I didn’t realise this was why the song was thus named.

Bach’s Air on G string is my one and only favorite instrumental music I want to hear. Quint’s performance is close to the original music composed by Bach. The music expresses the intensity of emotion of a person in love for another.
It can express the love of God for sinful man who turned away from his creator.
The intensity reaches its peak as the music nears its end, and somehow you ask for more.

@trc492 If you study music, i assure you that you’ll have another aptitude to appreciate classical pieces. Sometimes tear come to my eyes, just because I am before a masterpiece. And the music doesn’t have to be even sad.

why i can’t find it on double bass lol i played it at school there’s none and youtube :/ cello sound doesn’t have the balls imho ;-) but his good ^_^

  • CellistAdam:

@rhcpmusic: I actually cant find another key than THIS one; Im looking for it in other keys though. I have 2 versions, pretty much the exact same one he’s playing, and one an octave lower.

  • pplareppl:

I don’t care if he used romantic style vibrato on this baroque piece….it is absolutely wonderful.
So boo to you people who care about the type of vibrato he uses… it’s the sound that comes out that matters, not what type of piece it is.

  • MrAndrefe3:

I really like the pianist’s hairdo.

  • atlassys8:

I found that the sound stage is awesome while using a headphone. Is this recored binaurally?

  • AndWhatRoughBeast:
